My family on my father's side has always been avid readers. I have magazine and book collections dating back from the 1970s, and many of them reside in Bankers Box storage units. Sturdy,functional, and lasting through the years. When I needed to store my recently collected magazines, I turned to Bankers Box to maintain shelf order only to be highly disappointed in the quality of the cardboard used in the construction of the Bankers Box Magazine File Holders, Letter, 12 Pack (07223). The material is thin, and flimsy, the bottom closure has barely enough material to come together. Not at all what I was expecting from Bankers Box--"Premium magazine file with glued side panels for heavy duty use" Disappointing.

I received the product very soon after ordering. . They were packed in a huge Box. After pawing through packing material I found a slim package. I found 6 units as advertised. I assembled one and checked dimensions, Perfect! The assembly is simple and easy. They appear to be rugged enough for small children.

These magazine storage boxes are great. We use them all the time. I entered average for "quality of handle" and "lid functionality" because I had to give an answer, but these have neither a handle or lid.

My partner reads a lot and can't part with the magazines he buys. I'm the organizer! These boxes are terrific for sorting and storing where everything can be easily accessed and browsed any time. Sturdy quality and reasonably priced. Solves the problem nicely.
